Coach Kris started skating in Upstate New York at the age of 7. With over 30 years of skating experience, Kris was a freestyle competitor in several events and was a chorus line performer in various shows. She has well over 11 years in coaching experience ranging from tots to adults and levels being from beginners to advanced. Coach Kris also has an extensive dance background as she started at the age of 3. Kris was involved with various dance disciplines with a special interest in Middle Eastern Dance. She trained under the supervision of world renowned Tamalyn Dallal, Kahreen, Kiran & Feiruz. Kris has a bachelors degree in Exceptional Education and is currently teaching 5th grade in the field of autism. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis. Coach Kris and her husband are currently teaching students with autism both on and off the ice. Kris has been featured in the Sun Sentinel and was on the cover of the Autism Insider magazine rewarding her exceptional devotion to combining her two passions of figure skating and autism together.
