Sarah started skating at 5 years old in Nantes, France as part of her school’s PE program and she began competing at the regional level at 8 years old, becoming French Junior National Champion in Singles at age 14. She began pair skating with Stephane Bernadis at age 17 and together they won the French National Championships Ten times in a row.
Sarah and her partner Stephane had a very successful career that includes 5 Bronze medals at European Championships and 2 Silvers. They also earned the Bronze medal at the 2000 World Championships in Nice, France. They were 2nd at the World Cup in Lyon that same year, and 6th at the Olympic Games in Nagano, Japan, in 1998. After a devastating achilles tendon injury in the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic games, Sarah had to rest for 6 months and was unsure of her ability to come back., However she came back strong winning the French National Championships and Silver medal at the European Championships the next season.
Sarah retired from competition in 2003 and began her professional career starring in multiple Holiday on Ice shows throughout Europe, and was the first figure skater to perform with Cirque du Soleil. Eventually, Sarah developed her very own ice show production; Reves de Glace (Dreams on Ice).
Sarah moved to Florida 4 years ago and is redirecting her career towards coaching and helping skaters of all ages and levels reach their potential through improving and perfecting their technique and developing their jumping, spinning, and choreography skills.
